For the government of Valencia (Spain) netbooks leave you blind, "and I thought it was something else .. .



Valencia, the English region that will be remembered for refusing to netbooks because they are "dangerous." According to Alejandro Font de Mora, Minister for Education of the Generalitat Valenciana these can cause "myopia" and are "harmful to the eye" by the small size of the screen.

In fact the Minister has backed his "statements" with a report from the Mediterranean Ophthalmological Foundation, which supports the alleged problems caused by a small screen.

But: small screen is not to text necessarily reduced. All operating systems (for years) can increase the font size. The netbook that the English government wants to distribute among students through the School Plan Program 2.0 has 10-inch screen and costs 250 €.
